Facility Operations/Security Manager

Position Summary:
Security Manager will manage, hire, coach and train Security Staff of over 200 employees. Brief Security staff pre and post events regarding event, schedules, programs and best practices. Identifies security threats, develops preventative measures to limit security risks. Work with Senior
Director in assessing staffing needs throughout the year and developing best practices for new security measures.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform exterior and interior walkthroughs identifying property damages or security risks
  • Manage TMSS system for department including: scheduling, payroll, payroll corrections, manage and stay within payroll budget, entering sick and vacation time.
  • Assist in special details with Players, special guest or escorts
  • Manage information updates regarding parking, deliveries, memos, vendor passes and communicate this to Command Center and Director of Security, creating communication packets for employees
  • Follow up on current Security Best Practices as well as creating some for new initiatives
  • Logs daily employee attendance, schedule and assigned job tasks
  • Liaison for Command Center and all other Giants Organization Departments
  • Hire, train and develops training programs for staff and addresses employee questions and concerns
  • Provide a neat and clean environment for employees to work in for all areas where Security staff is posted
  • Monitor and manage daily and monthly payroll targets
  •  Partner with Human Resources Department and Senior Security Director on employee relations issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in security field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior Facility Security Management experience
  • Organized, punctual and professional
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of TMSS/ABI Scheduling and Payroll Software a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs i.e. extended hours, weekends, nights and holidays
  • Current/Valid Guard Card
  • Proven conflict resolution skills
