Executive Protection Driver / Security Officer

Responsibilities

Perform Routine Security Route and Site Recognizance prior to all movements and events.
Use appropriate evasive and/or defensive driving tactics as necessary in order to safeguard executives and passengers.
Perform proper route planning, reconnaissance and protective advance work.
Greet and register all visitors and escort them throughout the facility as needed.
Patrol facilities during and outside normal business hours, on foot or by vehicle.
Monitor security systems and ensure gates, doors and other access controls are operating properly and investigate and resolve disturbances as necessary.
Complete accurate and concise daily activity reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
Transport Corporate Leadership and other visitors as required.
Assist with the setup and conduct security operations during special events and off site meetings.
Create and maintain all appropriate records and documentation, including, but not limited to, protective mission reports and security route and site surveys.

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years' prior experience in Executive Protection, Transportation, or Security; 3+ years' prior experience in Military or Law Enforcement is preferred.
Training and familiarity in evasive and defensive driving, or security and executive transportation is preferred.
Ability to adhere to privacy and confidentiality guideline and policies.
Maintain a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Good judgment, strong character and personality, ethics, and high standards of performance and professionalism.
Strong interpersonal skills, superb writing, and verbal communication with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with corporate executives and multiple teams.
Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as well as swing and graveyard shifts, and weekends as needed.
Physically able to participate in demanding tasks: Lifting objects up to 50 pounds, ascending and descending long flights of stairs, walking large distances between facility structures, ability drive for long lengths of time and travel outside the immediate work area if required.
