Job Summary
The Security Support Services Manager supervises security administrators in performance of their personnel security processing duties. Coordinates activities of staff for security functions and administers, coordinates, and monitors the comprehensive security programs for the company.
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Supervises daily activities of assigned staff to ensure efficiencies in compliance with corporate, government, contractual and legal requirements
Develops, implements, and ensures compliance for company wide Security Education, Training and Awareness program
Coordinates Security Business Risk Matrix with Program Security Manager/FSOs and Chief Security Officer
Coordinates and prepares Annual Security Operations plan
Coordinates submission of Polices, Procedures and Work Instructions
Creates and maintains employee security files in accordance with government and company guidelines
Prepares and maintains detailed records pertaining to control of classified matter, safes, keys, personnel clearances, badges, etc.
Audits and initiates procedures to improve the existing security system as deemed necessary
Assist FSOs in preparing for DSS security audits
Interfaces with appropriate government agencies relating to industrial security
Obtains industrial security related records for all new industrial security clearances or continuation of current clearance for individuals within the business units
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Advanced knowledge of industrial security processes, procedures, regulations and best practices
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to effectively interface with various levels of employees and senior management
Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years’ experience in security may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
Eight (8) years’ experience working in security environment. Supervisory experience preferred.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions

Ability to travel domestically or internationally
