Job Subscription:   
Primary duties as an unarmed security officer at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), a branch of the Department of Defense are:
Badge access control for individuals entering and within the complex
Responding to events which may adversely affect the complex or personnel assigned therein, including: fires, industrial accidents, espionage, sabotage and medical emergencies
Protection of classified material and government property
Stopping all unauthorized electronic devices from entering complex; such as cell phones, CD's, I-pods
Conducting Random anti-terrorism measures (RAMS)
X Ray and physical inspection of bags, packages and equipment entering the complex
Providing traffic control and ticketing for the complex parking area as necessary

Qualifications:   
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a High School diploma.
Successfully complete a background investigation.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance .
Maintain contractual training requirements.
Obtain/Maintain Maryland state unarmed security license .
Obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid
Maintain a valid Driver's License.
