Responsibilities:
PAE is currently searching for a Senior Security Administrator to work in Reston, VA and to perform the following duties:
Must be able to work independently
15+ years Comprehensive Program Security Management
Bachelor’s degree preferred/equivalent work experience considered
Knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to review, independently analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems; apply policy direction to contractors and government/military officials, and develop guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situations and various levels or degrees of security controls
Knowledge of information, industrial, and personnel security concepts, principles and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas
Knowledge of required security special access program (SAP) and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security procedures
Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the STAC
Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission
Ability to plan, organize work and meet deadlines
Ability to liaison with various high-level US Government officials and represent STAC Security & Administrative interests in the DoD and IC community
Ability to provide leadership to at least one PSO/ISSO
Ability to effectively communicate key issues to the US Government DNI/Security team and cognizant COTR• Assist the Government’s Area Security Officer with personnel security-related requirements
Open security actions and maintain security records
Responsible for maintaining, verifying, and facilitating clearance information; handling requests for building access and clearance certification/verification for foreign contacts and visitors
Ensure employees are apprised of security issues, processes, and procedures
Respond to queries and requests for guidance and/or assistance in matters pertaining to security issues, processes, problems, and/or timelines
Process other security-related requests
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field, high school diploma or GED with five years of experience in the discipline, or service in the US Armed Forces with an honorable discharge
A minimum of five years of experience at the Senior level in the security discipline
Extensive knowledge of Agency and/or IC security regulations, policies, practices, and procedures
Thorough understanding of regulations and policies in personnel security area and knows where to go for answers in physical, technical, or information security areas
Must have excellent judgment, tact, and discretion
Must have excellent oral communication skills
Must be willing to brief small groups
Must have excellent written communication skills; ability to write detailed, explanatory notes requiring little to no editing
