Responsibilities:
PAE has an immediate opening for an experienced Lead Industrial Security Specialist. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA. US citizenship required. This position requires at minimum an active TS security clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold this level of clearance will not be considered.

Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of college and experience or 3-5 years related Industrial Security experience preferred
Must be experienced with JPAS, and eQIP; familiar with the NISPOM
Must be proficient with Microsoft Applications
Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written--experienced at giving business presentations strongly preferred
Knowledge of Security Information Management Systems [SIMS] (or similar security database software)
Knowledge of Department of State clearance programs preferred
Supports all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other PAE security-supported activities as mandated by law, Executive Order or agency-specific regulation. Supports PAE operations, as delegated to the GLSO Facility Security Officer (FSO), governed by the Defense Security Service (DSS) and Department of State (DS)
Act as the Assistant FSO, filling in for the FSO when not available—this requires being qualified to assume the role of acting FSO for periods of time
Conduct all aspects of the NISP and other security activities within the facility, which includes, but not limited to, personnel security, security awareness programs, information assurance, security portions of proposal responses and other NISP and contract security requirements

Qualifications:
Support the FSO in the processing of incoming/outgoing visit requests and certifications
Support the FSO in the processing of new employee security clearances to include tracking within the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
Support the FSO to ensure compliance with DoD, IC and Proprietary customers' regulations
Assist in responding to all administrative and customer security inquiries (reporting non-compliance)
Conduct Industrial Security briefings and debriefings
Assist with the implementation of the Industrial Security education/awareness/counterintelligence/ operations security/security reporting/classification management programs
Carry out at the direction of the FSO inspections, audits and analyses of security functions to determine performance and cost effectiveness as well as preparation of DD 254's for classified contracting,
Assist in the preparation of SF328 documentation and update Key Management Personnel (KMP) Listing
Assist preparation of DD 254 documentation for subcontractors—provide support to subcontract companies in their execution of security duties
Assist the FSO in interpreting policies as well as developing and implementing security plans and procedures, including proprietary programs, associated with facility security clearance (FCL) and/or government security contracts
Support the FSO's liaison with DSS and other DoD and DOS agencies, as required
Provide input on Industrial Security guidance to Human Resources Department, Senior Management and advise the GLSO Security Manager of Security as needed
Perform other security duties as required
