Position Summary:
The Physical Security Manager (PSM) reports to the Sr. Manager Regional Safety and Security (RSSM). This role will be responsible for providing physical security project management support to Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, and to the Corporate Security Regional Safety and Security Managers.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Support Corporate Real Estate and Facilities projects where physical security infrastructure is required.
• Support physical security staff (invoice, project management support, travel,policy and FTE and CW adjudication functions).
• Support the day to day operations of the Security Operations Center for security infrastructure health checks.
• Provide subject matter guidance on security policies, standards and procedures as needed.
• Create metrics relating to incident response and project management.
Management/Leadership Responsibility:
• Manage physical security installation of equipment during new office builds and renovations, relocations, restacks, etc.
Budget Responsibility:
• Generate monthly reporting documents related to physical security project spend vs. budget.
• Adhere to budget requirements and constraints.
Impact:
Nature of Impact-Nurturing relationships with other local, state and federal agencies to include FEMA, OSHA and the local fire marshal.
Area of Impact-Serve as business area representative internally and externally on behalf of all enterprise locations, liaison between Corporate Security Sr. Managers (RSSM) and internal clients such as Facility Management, Corporate Investigations, Human Resources, Business Continuity, Benefits and Disability, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Audit, Employee Relations and Event Marketing.
Problem Solving:
• Provide project support on application enhancements with the enterprise access control and CCTV.
• Support Corporate Security Policy and Standards program, including drafting documentation, review and publication.
• Provide subject matter guidance on security policies, standards and procedures as needed.
• Provide Physical Security project management for multiple small and large scale projects
• Serve as subject matter expert for all physical security projects
Functional Knowledge:
• Analytical skills: MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel.
• Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
Business or Industry Expertise:
Experience in handling internal safety and security problems including, but not limited to, criminal or disorderly conduct, investigations, dissatisfied clients and/or guests, workplace accidents and threats, fire and other emergencies.
Interactions/Interpersonal Skills:
• Proven strong communications, diplomatic and business skills.
• Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
Qualifications:
Required:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience
Skills and Abilities:
• Analytical skills: MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel.
• Verint video / CCTV
• Lenel / On-Guard Access Control Systems
• VMS
