Overview:
The Specialist of Physical Security Operations is responsible for developing, planning and supervising TE Connectivity’s corporate physical security and executive protection programs. The role is directly accountable for oversight of critical facilities owned or occupied by TE Connectivity.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Develop and enforce physical security policies and standards for the enterprise.Responsible for managing the executive protection program to include event risk assessments and coordination of security services.
Oversee the management and effectiveness of physical security services contracted from third parties at critical company locations (including but not limited to security guard services).
Manages the development and implementation of access and perimeter control operational procedures, conveying and verifying security requirements.
Develops and manages corrective actions to upgrade the physical and technical security posture at critical company locations.
Work with management and regional team members to conduct specific testing programs.
Facilitate and support audits of physical security that are conducted on behalf of customers.
Collaborate with Facilities Management, Safety, Insurance, Information security, regional team members and businesses at facilities worldwide to maintain physical security.
Perform physical security risk assessments as required.
Ability to travel globally (estimated 20-25%)

8+ years of responsibility in security risk management.
Bachelor's degree in an area of study relevant to this position or equivalent work experience in a related field.
