BASIC FUNCTION: Security Management
Provide security leadership, management and oversight of the Waco Facility, which includes a Contractor & Proprietary Security Officer force, Contract Crash Fire and Rescue organization and administrative security professionals supporting a facility of over 1800 employees and on-site
government and foreign customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement security policy and direction consistent with Company directives, DOD, and other Government Regulations.
Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
Interact with government agencies on all classified matters and oversee the classification management activities of the facility including the OPSEC Program.
This position is responsible for budget preparation, administration, and performance.
Travel to various company and customer locations is required.
Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must have knowledge in the interpretation and management of all aspects of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Supplement and Overprint including collateral, SAP, and SCI programs.
Must have a full understanding of Information Systems Security as defined in NISPOM Chapter 8.
Must also understand applicable DCID’s and related government regulations.
Requires the ability to create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers and senior management.
Must have an understanding of the government security community, information assurance processes, and military operations, and experience interfacing with government agencies on these matters.
Also must have a working knowledge of state of the art security methodologies and technical advances.
Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with current SSBI and be eligible for SCI and Special Accesses.
Must be a Certified Facility Security Officer (5 years direct experience desired) in the National Industrial Security Program.
Posses an in-depth knowledge of U.S. Government collateral, SCI and SAP requirements.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

Education:
Bachelor degree (Security/Criminal Justice related desired) + 10 years security management experience with DOD and Federal Security regulations and administering NISPOM and related requirements.
