Responsibilites and Duties:
Manages transition of critical uninterruptible programs, mission areas, and functional areas and ensure the continuity of operations during any contract transition.
Perform multiple lead or SME roles.
Perform as an Observer/Trainer (O/T).
Will work for a minimum of one (1) year and shall be available immediately upon date of contract award.
Shall be required to travel worldwide for extended periods of time on short notice.
Shall embark on U.S. Navy, USNS, or host nation ships when required and may be required to enter war zones when augmenting MOC staffs for crisis or contingency operations.
Required to work extended periods of time while supporting training exercise events and real world operations.
Provide OLW training to MOC staffs and other staffs.
Perform duties of an O/T in specific field of expertise at fleet MOCs.
Well versed with NWP 3-32.1 B2C2WG processes, other service, or joint OLW doctrine required.
Advise the MOC advocate on OLW level matters in specific field of expertise.
Attend workshops and conferences associate with specific field of expertise to maintain current knowledge on emerging concepts, service, and joint doctrine development and technical advances, as applicable.
Assist NFC or NCC fleet leads in every phase of a training event. Submit trip reports following attendance of professional events/exercise life cycle events associated with specific field of expertise.
Serve as a lesson plan developer and facilitator in specific field of expertise.
Interface with lower echelon training activities (CSFTL, CSFTP, EWTGL, EWTGP, TTGL, and TTGP) to bridge the tactical to OLW.
Minimum Tangible Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in the requisite area of expertise for all aspects of training mission and functional areas.
Demonstrated ability to act independently; work in cohesive collaborative team environment(s); have exceptional management, organizational, planning, and communication skills; meet goals within time and cost constraints; and be proficient with standard Microsoft Office Products.
Qualify as a subject matter expert (SME) in one (1) or more fields of expertise.
Experience on NFC, NCC, or service equivalent staffs.
Twenty (20) years experience as an active duty Maritime Special Forces officer required.
A minimum of one (1) tour of duty as an operations or plans officer in a SOF unit including a JSOTF at any level desired.
One (1) tour of duty as a SOF planner on a service component, JTF, or CCDR staff desired.
One (1) or more tours of duty in a training related billet desired.
BA or BS degree required.
Junior level JPME and completion of a 22 month joint tour required.
Top level JPME and designation as a JSO desired.
Senior level active duty military and/or DOD civilian experience desired (requirements can be satisfied with a combination of active duty, DOD civilian, and/or contractor experience).
Eligible for Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)/Special Access Program (SAP) and Special Technical Operation (STO) security clearance.
