Responsibilities:
We are looking for role players to support our client’s training program in a variety of simulated field scenarios. Several of the courses in the client’s program engage students in as near a real-world environment as possible, to prepare them for how to handle critical situations in their future deployments. This particular requirement is for an individual with qualified experience as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer. The individual will be required to leverage his/her experience in presenting client students with as realistic a border-crossing environment as possible, within the context of the client-approved training syllabus. Training must take place in an effective and efficient manner. He/she will provide needed feedback to students following their participation in
simulations. Students will be expected to walk away from their training with a better understanding of how ICE officials work and how to better engage with them in the field. While training will be focused in the WMA region, some travel CONUS may be required. Where appropriate, recommendations for improvements/modifications to the role playing exercises will be expected.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement field officer, familiar with the customs and immigration duties/responsibilities of ICE officers in a border-crossing environment
- Ability to draw on personal experiences, as an ICE officer, and bring them to bear in your role playing scenarios for the benefit of the students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A proven track record as a team player
- Prior experience in adult education desired
- Prior experience as a training role player in an ICE capacity desired
- Able to obtain Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI Access and Polygraph
