A-T Solutions is seeking a Basic Tactical Operator / Advanced Marksmanship Instructor (BTOC/AMI) to support Coast Guard Training Support Services for Special Mission Training Center (SMTC), Camp Lejeune, NC..
Qualified instructors shall meet the following qualifications:
Must possess a minimum of 10+ years of combined Joint Tactical Operations and Tactical Trainer experience in the conduct of Advanced Marksmanship and dynamic Close Quarters Combat (CQC), preferably in a Maritime Environment. Must have served as an assault team member or leader in DOD or Federal Law Enforcement agencies (e.g. U.S. Army Special Forces, U.S. Navy SEALs, FBI Hostage Rescue Team, USSS Counter Assault Team, USCG Maritime Security Response Team or Maritime Safety and Security Team, FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), U.S. Secret Service Counter
Assault Team or United States Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC)). Experience with USCG DSFs, DOD SOF Tier 1 or 2 units, or Naval Special Warfare is preferable.
Experience in current DSF or DOD SOF infiltration/exfiltration TTPs, including but not limited to fast rope insertion/extraction and hook and climb operations with documented qualifications are required for selection.
Experience in Special Operations/tactical boat assault operations, noncompliant/opposed vessel boarding operations, and synchronization of helicopter and boat assault operations scenarios.
Experience in teaching and performing mechanical, manual, and ballistic breaching with common manual breaching tools, M870 shotguns, cutting saws and exothermic torches.
The instructor must have demonstrated leadership skills to include abilities to effectively and independently supervise a SF or SpecOps unit. As an instructor, presented SF and SpecOps curriculum as a certified trainer in a classroom and field environment.
Ability to independently supervise and direct a tactical assault unit while conducting “live fire” and HRT evolutions.
Ability to foresee hazards or a hazardous situation during HRT evolutions and without hesitation provides immediate corrective action direction.
Ability to make quick and concise independent decisions under extreme life threatening situations that would result in the safety of self and others.
Extremely knowledgeable of safety requirements for setting up shoot house.
Graduate of a certified instructor trainer course.
Speak fluent English.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to serve under adverse environmental conditions, to include climb while wearing body armor kit, (up to 60 LBS) in intense heat, cold, wet conditions up to 12 hours a day.
Possess a Secret clearance with no derogatory background results
to include any violations of the Lautenberg Amendment.
Must provide copy of discharge DD-214 if declaring military experience.
These positions are considered key personnel.
