ATO Security Specialist / Security Administrator

GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a Security Administrator at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland to perform the duties as ATO Security Specialist, providing direct support to the HQ Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Protection Division’s Antiterrorism (AT) program. This position requires initiative, multi-tasking skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision on all assignments.

Duties Include:
Provide analytical support of evaluations including, but not limited to:
Analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work for the purpose of development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized
disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.
Developing, maintaining, and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials.
Support of established security programs (e.g., antiterrorism, operations security (OPSEC), physical, personnel, information, or industrial security).

Required Skills:

Possess DoD ATO certification or have the ability to complete the required certification immediately after hire.
General administrative and/or clerical skills, practical knowledge of specific security objectives, programs, methods, and procedures, and skills in carrying out support tasks related to security administration.
Ability to work closely with Military and Civilian Security Manager at the Government facility.
Competent in the operation of personal computers (PC), and Microsoft Office software applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and website/portal management.
Ability to travel to other government facilities or other contractor facilities.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.

Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must possess a secret clearance
