The Director of Global Investigations is responsible for managing all aspects of investigations relating to employee code of conduct violations and crimes against Honeywell. Working with human resources representatives, legal staff and Honeywell Strategic Business Group/Unit leadership, the Director of Global Investigations is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality results from the Global Investigations team in all investigative matters including, but not limited to, investigative planning, gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and report writing.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
-Proactively direct, develop, and manage all internal and external investigative services and support
on a corporate-wide basis for Honeywell’s businesses and employees worldwide.
- Lead, manage, and/or conduct global investigations while maintaining daily management responsibility and development of ten member Global Investigations staff.
- Develop and maintain consistent policies and procedures related to investigations and seek out continuous improvement opportunities to improve the overall speed, quality and effectiveness of investigative functions.
- Utilize and maintain case management systems and investigative databases to proactively analyze business trends, capture metrics, centralize incident reporting, and manage case reports.
- Identify process weaknesses within business systems and proactively influence changes in travel & expense audit & procedures, fraud, supplier contracts, integrity & compliance issues, conflicts of interest, intellectual property protection, workplace violence prevention, executive protection, international travel safety, and criminal violations against Honeywell.
- Work with a team of security and risk analysts to proactively investigate threats to Honeywell’s employees, products and facilities.
- Act as Corporate Business Conduct Leader and manage Integrity & Compliance program when corporate manager is not available.
- Train selected management, legal, and human resources employees on standards associated with conducting investigations, interviewing, documentation, and report writing processes.
- Manage, mentor, and develop investigative staff through communication exchange and ongoing training venues.
- Support and influence Honeywell Global Security in the formulation of department-wide metrics and statistical trends that are meaningful to tracking business successes and deficiencies.
- Oversee multiple projects, priorities and people while ensuring strategic goals and objectives are met that provide valuable returns to the businesses.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required in security, criminal justice, law enforcement, legal or related field.
-8 years of progressive experience working in the investigative field such as corporate security, law enforcement or military police/criminal investigation.
Additional Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and direct complex, high-profile investigations.
- Proven experience in increasingly responsible roles with emphasis in managing globally diverse teams.
- Effective communicator: demonstrated ability to train, educate, deliver presentations, and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in program and project management in a related field.
- Experience with investigative tools (case management, evidence collection and handling, records and database checks and advanced forensics).
- Advanced computer skills in word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software.
- Advanced degree (JD/MS) deired in security, criminal justice, law enforcement, legal or related business field.
- Security or industry-related certifications (e.g. PCI, CPP, CFE) desired.
