Security Manager

Your daily responsibilities include:
  • Oversees the activities of the security department
  • Oversees the activities of the transportation department and valet/guest services attendants
  • Supervises adherence to rules, regulations as well as company policies and procedures
  • Staffing appropriately to maintain full coverage of posts
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • Development, evaluating and training of staff
  • Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints
  • Ensuring the safety and security of all Hollywood Casino visitors, employees and property
  • All other duties as assigned
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • 2-5 years work experience in Security/ Law enforcement with a minimum 2 year degree in related field preferred
  • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Must be licensed with Mississippi Gaming Commission
  • Must have ability and valid license to operate company motor vehicles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
  • Tact when dealing with difficult customers
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded, noisy and smoky environment
  • Required to initiate positive interactions with guests and employees
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability
    to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
