SITP Female Support Platoon Training Manager Tracking Code32-082Job DescriptionPULAU Corporation is seeking a Female Support Platoon Training Manager for the Special Infantry Training Program in Afghanistan. This is a full-time, exempt position with a base salary and when in Afghanistan hazard and hardship differentials. This position requires successful completion of IRDO, Individual Replacement Deployment Operations.


Standard will be to conduct training six (6) days per week for up to twelve (12) hours per day while in Afghanistan.

The Afghan National Army (ANA) Special Infantry Training Program (SITP) provides dedicated in-depth training and subject matter expertise to organize, man, equip, and train Special Infantry units for the ANA. Special Infantry units are elite, highly mobile light infantry units specializing in assaults on conventional targets. Conduct of this training effort is at a coalition facility located in the greater Kabul region. The scope of this training includes physical conditioning, small arms weapon instruction, tactical questioning, rotary-wing insertion and close-quarter battle.

The Female Support Platoon Manager will ensure that training objectives are completed on time following established training curriculum and schedules; conduct daily training and actively assist or provide direction to students as required.

Job Duties include:
Working hand in hand with American Military counterpart to insure all logistical tasks are complete to include coordinating training land, ammunition, and transportation.
Flexibility to complete certain task as an advisor, instructor, or mentor.
Create course curriculum and training schedules and brief to Military Chain of Command.
Assist American Military counterpart in creation and improvement of the Program of Instruction.
Help coordinate Afghan soldier deployment and redeployment.
Participate in post-course evaluations.
Participate in continual improvement process.
Providing post-training assessments of student performance and present feedback during After Action Reviews (AAR) at the conclusion of training. Required Skills

Must understand and practice Afghan Culture Sensitivity.
Understand the complexities of the Special Operations Environment.
Must be willing to work and live in Afghanistan with an understanding that could potentially be reassigned to any location in Afghanistan based upon the needs of the U.S. Government.
Must be willing to work in harsh or adverse environments.
Must be willing to deploy and live on forward operating bases operated by Afghan National Army under austere conditions without regular U.S. PX and Commissary facilities.
Must be willing and able to travel outside of protected areas via military convoys or MILAIR, and wear protective clothing and equipment as required. In the conduct of their training contractors may encounter hostile forces.
Must be able to pass IRDO to include the physical standards.
Must have and be able to maintain Secret Security Clearance
Valid US Passport. Required Experience
Candidate shall have a background in a Special Operations Unit, E5 or higher, 4 years experience and served as Team Leader or above in Afghanistan or Iraq.
