About You
We seek an authoritative, strategic, and solution-oriented Chief Security Officer to join a growing software team focused on rapidly building a new cloud-based enterprise security and risk management product. We need someone who has expertise overseeing and executing upon organization-wide security product efforts. The selected candidate will be responsible for the research, development, implementation, and fine-tuning of our security strategy, vision, programs, products, and initiatives.

Do you have the resume of champions?
Experience creating, implementing, developing, and managing global security policy, guidelines, standards, and processes typically obtained in 10+ years.
Experience leading complex technical projects from conception through deployment and maintenance, typically obtained in 10+ years.
Experience leading the security aspects of software development teams typically obtained in 10+ years.
Strong R&D background developing disruptive technologies.
Mastery of security and information technology practices and principles.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Superior communication skills; ability to translate complex security topics to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Excellent project management, supervisory, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Strong working knowledge of pertinent regulations, compliance, regulatory guidelines.
Demonstrated track record of success in performing the responsibilities outlined in the following section.

Huge Plus
Significant experience leading a teams building next generation apps using adaptive machine learning techniques and has experience with high-performance/big-data environments.

Do you want to do this on a daily basis?
Evaluate, enhance, implement, and manage ZeroFOX’s cyber and physical security posture: initiatives, policy, guidelines, standards, and processes.
Direct architecture and roadmap decisions as they pertain to cyber security.
Research, identify and inject customer security needs into our product suite.
Serve as an instrumental member / leader in developing our core product suite.
Develop and facilitate corporate security awareness and educational initiatives.
Establish, develop, implement, and maintain the overall security strategy for a cyber security product with regard to architecture and engineering standards.
Lead complex technical projects from conception through deployment and maintenance.
Safeguard and protect the company’s information assets.
Work cross-functionally with Leadership to oversee and coordinate security efforts that align with technical, regulatory, corporate, legal objectives.
Evaluate and assess current and prospective enterprise security standards and technology.
