Job Description
KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for a Facility Security Officer to be located at our Loveland, CO headquarters office.

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) will be responsible for overseeing all functions of the Security Department for KeyPoint Government Solutions with a primary focus on personnel security and a secondary focus on physical security of facilities. The FSO provides day-to-day supervision and technical oversight of the security staff.

Essential Functions:
Coordinates personnel security clearance requirements with various government customers
(depending on contract requirements)
Controls all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Prepares FOCI submissions for review and then inputs them into DSS systems
Implements contract security management including security liaison duties and security reviews with OPM, DHS, and other assigned Contracts
Develops and implements physical security construction and controls
Ensures that security and PII violations are investigated and prepares reports specifying preventative action to be taken.
Updates and continuously maintains the KeyPoint Security Manual
Manages day-to-day operation of the security programs for KeyPoint
Provides classification guidance
Develops and maintains Security Awareness and Education Program, and conducts security indoctrinations
Provides direct daily supervision of subordinates including hiring, training, evaluation, disciplinary action, coaching, counseling and termination actions for direct reports
Consults with Vice President of Contracts and Compliance to determine if there are any necessary revisions to KeyPoint policies, procedures, or processes
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel security with a minimum of 2 years as an FSO or Assistant FSO
Must have completed DSS FSO training
Solid writing skills
Ability to interpret and implement government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance
Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, analyze problems, interact with government
agencies on policy issues and provide focused solutions
Professional work ethic
Effective communications skills with both senior managers and employees
U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)
Candidates selected for this position must pass a mandatory post-offer drug test

The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint.
