It is the responsibility of the Security Director to plan, manage, and coordinate Security and Safety programs to mitigate loss and reduce risks for all PRO Sports Club properties and Pegasus Farms. The Security/Safety Director will identify, evaluate, and implement corrective actions against security and safety risks that may result in injury, property loss, damage, or legal liability. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs
- Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations
- Ensure existing programs are effective and adequately supported
- Establish and maintain liaison with outside organization including police, fire, and neighbors, to promote information exchange and mutual assistance
- Develops emergency procedures, respond to incidents, and resolves problems or requests
- Provides training to cast on security or safety topics
- Develops accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs to incorporate into operational policies of organization
- Coordinates purchase, installation, and maintenance of security equipment
- Insure that the CCTV system is adequate and functional, provide support for the system, and deploy and train the management team on its use and functionality
- Assist all Departments in identifying and correcting issues which could compromise security or safety
- Responsible for teaching First Aid and CPR to all required cast.
- Promote positive member relations with appropriate follow up and investigations on security, safety or other areas of support
- Promote compliance and manage the Parking Plan for PRO Sports
- Insure property damage, unusual occurrences, and suspicious activity is documented and communicated as needed
- Insure member incidents and accidents are properly recorded
- Provide support to executive team as needed in a timely and accurate manner
- Conducts drills for lost children response and other safety matters
- Conduct investigations and provide documentation regarding any suspect behavior
- Chair the Safety Committee and work with all departments to promote a safe environment
- Coordinate security and safety activities of managers to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout organization. Devises methods to evaluate safety program and conduct or direct evaluations of safety or security issues
- Provide complete investigation and documentation of any suspicious behavior as needed
- Organizes and oversees key and code systems and distribution
- Prepares operational and risk reports for management analysis as needed
- Participates with professional organizations to update knowledge of safety and security program developments
- Shall patrol all locations to evaluate, identify, and correct security or safety issues
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years experience in the security field
- 2-4 year degree preferred, but not required
- Customer service experience preferred
- Valid WA State Driver’s License
- Good driving record
- Minimum local travel may be required
