AFFOR Training Specialist - Germany - Active Secret Clearance required in Germany-Ramstein Air Base
Sr Training Specialist - GERMANY - US Secret clearance required


Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel.

1. Develops, tests, maintains, and delivers moderately complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
2. Establishes and reviews course content and objectives.
3. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
4. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
5. Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
6. May provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs.
7. Conducts research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies.
8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
9. Participates in special projects as required.

Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.

Must be IAT Level II certified (e.g. Security+).


5-8 years of directly related experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs.

Desired experience and expertise includes, but is not limited to:

A. Command Staff experience in an Air Force Forces (AFFOR) role;
B. Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) experience;
C. Ballistic Missile Defense experience; and
D. Non-Kinetic Operations experience.

The individual must have experience and familiarity with the Joint and Air Force publications, including but not limited to:
A. Doctrine for Joint Operations (JP-3-0);
B. Joint Operational Planning Process (JP 5-0);
C. Countering Air and Missile Threats (JP 3-01);
D. Command and Control of Joint Air Operations (JP 3-30);
E. Joint Task Force Headquarters (JP 3-33);
F. Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (JP 3-68), to include understanding phasing, integration, service roles and contributions
G. Personnel must be knowledgeable in the Advances Distributed Learning Services (ADLS) system used by DOD/USAFE.
H. Personnel must be capable of designing, developing, presenting and maintaining distance learning training sessions using ADLS.
I. Personnel will be required to teach the training program courses.


A. Personnel will be required to conduct requirements interview to ensure all training needs are captured.
B. Personnel will develop courses based on input from SMEs from the supported organizations.
C. Personnel will develop and present deliverables based on government requirements.
D. Personnel will conduct student feedback sessions.
E. Personnel will develop course syllabi, with variations, based on government input.
F. Personnel will develop and teach a formal training program for government staff and their Joint Task Force (JTF) responsibilities as well as integrate exercises to support and validate the training.
G. Personnel will provide training to NATO staffs, as required by the Government, to meet multinational training requirements. This support includes academic training support during programmed USAF sponsored multinational exercises;
H. Personnel will thoroughly research, develop, update and document all formal training programs.
I. Personnel will review, revise and update all training course materials quarterly, or upon request of the Government.
J. Personnel will develop distance learning courses
K. Personnel will design, develop, update and maintain web and computer based products, processes, and systems that provide command-wide access to the Training Programs and satisfy Government requirements.
L. Personnel will coordinate with subject matter experts and courseware managers to obtain data and content for distance learning course development, updates and revisions, including consultation with relevant personnel
M. Personnel will design, develop, update and manage course conversion to Advance Distance Learning (ADL) format to include management of courses on an Air Force approved Learning Management System (LMS). The Contractor shall ensure the courses are Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant.
N. Personnel will develop resource plans and budgets that provide accurate advice to WPC leadership on program requirements necessary to produce distance learning courses and services
O. Personnel will review, revise and update all distance learning training course materials quarterly, and upon request of the government.
P. Position may require physical activities such as lifting objects, standing for long periods, etc.
