This position is responsible for the Security Operations for Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts. This senior level manager is responsible for leading, teaching, and development of a diverse and high performance team. This leader must be able to motivate the team to action in delivering the mission of protecting and securing our Guests, Cast, and assets through the development and execution of both strategic and tactical initiatives. This role requires monitoring and engagement with the operation on significant events to include nonscheduled hours, with response to Walt Disney World property when necessary to assume command.
Responsibilities
Will possess a demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement plans with a dynamically changing environment, including the flexible deployment of resources based on both routine and evolving operational priorities and emergency situations.
Maintain a strong connection to industry trends and best practices to advance and grow a world class operation.
Superior relationship and influencing skills are required to advance work and deliver service through partnerships with executive clients, supporting law enforcement agencies and corporate resources.
Proven financial acumen is critical for the development of the annual operating plan and implementation of metrics to manage a large operation within budget and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
This role requires monitoring and engagement with the operation on significant events to include nonscheduled hours, with response to Walt Disney World property when necessary to assume command.
Responsible for assisting in the development of Annual Operating Plan and accomplishment of area goals within plan.
Continually teach and mentor through education, feedback, and coaching. Provide developmental opportunities for direct reports to grow within their current role and for future growth.
Drive and support safety recognition programs.
Accountable for the establishment of policies and procedures and the day to day execution of Security Operations in assigned area.

Basic Qualifications
15 years of experience in a Security leadership role leading multi-faceted teams
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative high functioning peer team environment
Proven knowledge and understanding of Industry Security policies and procedures
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment
Demonstrated strong human relations, partnering, collaboration, and influencing skills
Demonstrated Guest Service skills
Demonstrated strong organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to build and motivate teams
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of Walt Disney World’s Security policies and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of Walt Disney World’s property and resources
Experience in managing a proprietary guard force in a hospitality industry
Valid ASIS Certified Protection Designation
Proven knowledge of integrated access control techniques
Proven knowledge of emergency preparedness planning and business continuity
Experience in interacting with Executives in a Fortune 500 Company
Knowledge of Florida State Statutes and experience interacting with law enforcement
Working knowledge of Investigative and Intelligence services, private, and Government
