RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Military Analyst (MA) supports DAMO-CI capabilities development process for current and future forces by providing analysis and assessment of: Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents; Operational Need Statements (ONS); and Capability Based Assessments.
To be knowledgeable of the policies and guidance that pertains to the JCIDS Process and the Acquisition Process.
Be capable of leading projects and studies that support the Capability Development and Acquisition Processes, as well as the Army's Campaign of Learning.
Be able to analyze and assess the results of the Army Campaign of Learning efforts.
Able to identify the problem to be addressed in the analytical effort, put together a plan for how to approach the problem, make recommendations on underlying issues and on developing an assessment strategy, procedures, and tools.


MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in operational research, engineering, mathematics or a scientific related field. An associate's degree may be substituted for the education requirement with 10 years of analytical experience with the military and demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task
Relevant Experience (amount and type): 5 years of analytical experience with the military and demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to the task
Candidate must have TRANSPORTATION CORPS experience
