Job Description
Security Coordinator shall be responsible for ensuring that all personnel wishing to access or exit the Cameron site comply with this procedure and any supporting procedures, such as the Vehicle Inspection and Pedestrian Search Procedures. Security Coordinator shall also be responsible for conducting spot checks on all Site access locations in order to ensure that Security Guards are conducting 100% checks of all personnel IDs upon entry as well as a thorough search of all bags / parcels / containers on entry and exit from site. Security Coordinator is to report any deviations from Site Procedures to the Project Security Manager as soon as practicable. The Security Coordinator reports to the Project Security Manager and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of the security service provider to ensure that all posts are fully manned per contractual requirements and that all duties are performed in accordance with Security Plans and Procedures. They will to be fully conversant with:
Security Plans and Procedures pertinent to the protection of the Project site both onshore and offshore.
Regulations applicable to the issue of personal identity badges and access control systems.
Procedures and processes for entering the Existing Facilities.
Procedures and functions of the security service provider at fixed posts, patrols, and response units.
The process of compiling and submitting security incident reports, daily occurrence reports, manning and equipment status reports. They are responsible for:
Ensuring the logs are maintained at guard post to record shift changes, incidents, visitors details and reports of losses, damage, or injury.
Monitoring the performance of the security service provider.
Identifying weaknesses in security practices and recommending improvements.
Ensuring the security service provider personnel attend scheduled training courses.
Ensuring the security equipment is functional and that all losses and damages are reported.
