Job Description
This position is on a recently award IDIQ contract and is pending specific Task Order awards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor uncleared workers during designated phases of construction;
X-ray and inspect material, equipment and furnishings designated for use within Controlled Access Areas of the construction site;
Assist with random selection of materials required for construction and installation in Controlled Access Areas;
Inspect random materials required for construction and installation in the Controlled Access Area and areas contiguous to the Controlled Access Area.

Top Secret Security Clearance (eligible to receive a DOS reciprocal Top Secret clearance);
Possess a valid US Driver's License and US passport;
U.S Citizen;
21 years of age or older;
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent;
Five (5) years’ experience in at least one of the following areas of expertise:
1) Construction Security Surveillance,
2) Technical Surveillance Countermeasures,
3) Industrial or Government security involving counterintelligence,
4) Construction Quality Assurance, or
5) Hands –on supervisory construction experience
Ability to read and analyze construction drawings/blueprints (pre-test administered by Diplomatic Security);
Able to learn the principles of all construction disciplines, to include Civil, Architectural, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering;
Capable of reading and analyzing designs and blueprints, and recognizing the architect’s intended use;
Capable of analyzing designs and structural complexities, which are intended to mask an ulterior purpose not wanted by the architect;
Possess knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles and devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services for the purpose of clandestine surveillance.
Preferred Skills
Possess ability to become thoroughly knowledgeable of Department of State security procedures and the level of security required in various parts of each facility under construction/renovation.
