Surveillance and Security Supervisor

Overview:
American Cruise Lines is seeking a Surveillance and Security Supervisor (full time) at our Guilford, CT office. The supervisor will be responsible for managing the shipboard surveillance components, cameras and reviewingvideos. The individual will be familiar with digital recorders, surveillance cameras, software and computers to monitor the ships. Additionally, the supervisor will watch surveillance footage collected from the ships and prepare incidental reports.

Responsibilities:

Obtain and collect recorded video footage from the ships
Review and scan video footage for incidents
Identify and report service issues detected in surveillance footage within hotel and dining services
Observe shipboard staff in compliance with company policies and regulations
Review footage from the pilot house
Utilize surveillance cameras, equipment, software to identify and document any incidents

Qualifications:

Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in criminal justice, law enforcement or related field
Preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher
Must be observant and pay close attention to detail
Must be savvy with digital video recorders, surveillance cameras and computers
Preferred experience with installation of equipment
Must have exceptional organizational skills
