Position Summary: 
The Instructor will plan, manage, teach, and assess formal courses of instruction. Instructors’ primary function will require working with employees deploying to overseas government contracts, testing (laboratory or field exercise), grading, guiding and using appropriate tools to develop their knowledge in order for them to obtain a certification for the subject of study. Will be responsible for conducting training at various locations CONUS and OCONUS.

Essential Functions:
Plan and coordinate elements of Aegis training courses to include protective security, firearms, explosives, guard duties, sniper/DDM qualification, tactical medicine, supervision and management
Ensure that all equipment, and materials are on-hand for training
Conduct re-qualification as necessary
Other administrative tasks as necessary to support training operations

Non-Essential Functions: Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned according to the needs of the customer/client

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Job Requirements
Crucial Requirements and Abilities:
The contract requires you to be a U.S. Citizen - must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
Completed or served at least three (3) years’ experience in military, law enforcement or executive commercial protection.
Preferred contracting instructor experience
A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Instructor in one (1) of the following or multiple fields:
Firearms
Resources (cultural awareness)
Protective Operations
Tactical Skills
Counter Explosive Measures
Hostage Survival/Personnel Recovery (HSPR)
Chemical and Biological Weapons
Tactical Medical
Vehicle Dynamics
Off road/unimproved road
Worked on other U.S., federal, state, or local government training assignments
Experience can be gained in the employ of any national, State/Provincial, Local or commercial entities providing high threat protective services
English language proficiency (minimum Level III)
Must successfully pass all required courses specified by the client

Demonstrated effective communications skills including strong written and oral presentation skills

Exercise sound judgment in all areas of responsibility
Ability to maintain effective communications with individuals and agencies from diverse cultures and backgrounds including U.S. Government, host nation government and law enforcement
Maintain effective professional relationships with employees and outside individuals and agencies
Ability to understand and successfully handle various operational issues
