Primary Function:


The Risk Consultant will be responsible for the day to day management of client risk and security services. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions:

Mentor client Security Management personnel in Western African States
Take Mentees through a syllabus similar to the MSC Security Risk Management qualification
Engage the local communities near the Telecoms sites, and prevent the theft of equipment and fuel from remotes Telecoms sites
Brief the MD and senior management of the business
Maintain a system of 24/7 emergency contact for client and related third parties
Collect, collate, analyze and disseminate security risk- related information and data
Compile and deliver project security and risk reports as required
Conduct audits to find holes in security platform
Develop risk management assessments
Report to management on security performance, threats and risks
Monitor any third party provider security procedures and performance
Create global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security
Advise on best security practice for the operating environment
Create, manage and maintain appropriate security and emergency evacuation plans

Job Requirements:
British or South African with proven risk consultancy skills who has a degree in security risk management
Former military or police experience is preferable
If former military, must have received an honorable discharge
Mature individual with experience of working in Africa and preferably Western African States
Physically fit and robust
Minimum of 5 years service in military or law enforcement/police force
Internationally recognised CP qualification
Minimum medical qualification: in date FPOS (1)
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate company practices with executives, clients, and employees
Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and react to change with a high degree of attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
