We are currently seeking talented Senior Protective Services Specialist for our San Antonio, TXfacility.
Purpose Of Job
Executes protective services for senior executives and other designated employees and their families. Investigates and resolves threats directed at company senior executives. Maintains a wide range of internal and external agency support to coordinate protective services and workplace violence prevention. Conducts a wide range of background investigations and screening. Coordinates the installation and maintenance of security alarm systems.
Job Duties
Provides executive protective services for the President/CEO, the Chairman and the Board of Directors, the Executive Council members and other designated employees of the company and their families.
Ensures the execution of off-site and on-site planning, coordination and execution of executive protective services for designated persons.
Responsible for protective services to include personal protection, corporate facilities, residence, business and personal travel, ground and air transportation, and special projects.
In collaboration with corporate investigations, investigates and resolves threats directed at company senior executives and their families.
Maintains a wide range of intra and interagency relationships for executive protective services and workplace violence prevention matters.
Interfaces with and monitors reporting from various information/intelligence entities such as the Department of States' Overseas Security Advisory Council; FBI's domestic Security Alliance Council staff; the Department of Homeland Security; and designated commercial security services companies on intelligence, security and threat matters.
Ensures the procurement, installation, maintenance and operational aspects of security systems required for senior executives and other employees designated by the company.
Participates in the development and maintenance of personal profiles and conducts risk assessment of all personnel covered by protective services.
Provides intelligence and other security support to areas in the Enterprise Security Group as it pertains to senior executives and designated employees.
Coordinates with internal stakeholders on workplace violence prevention policy, training, process and procedural matters.
Conducts a wide range of background investigations and screening.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in criminal justice or related field OR 4 years equivalent work experience in law enforcement or security in lieu of a degree.
10+ years experience with a law enforcement agency, or private sector security.
3+ years conducting personal protection.
2+ years experience in the investigation of threat cases.
1+ years experience conducting background investigations.
Familiarization with security alarm system (CCTV).
Successfully completed a U.S. government sponsored or a certified professional protective services/executive protection training program.
Proven liaison skills with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Must currently hold or be able to obtain within the first year a state of Texas Level IV Personal Protection Officer license.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally and hold a valid US passport.
Preferred
2+ years assembling and assessing threat intelligence.
