Responsibilities SUMMARY: Supports the administration of security management resort wide. Responsible for providing leadership to the exempt level security team and uniformed officers. Key liaison with other departments and third party vendors supporting resort operation initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manages supervision and staff performance as it relates to all aspects of uniformed security for an assigned business unit (Parks/Resort).
•Responsible for enforcing all departmental policies and procedures.
•Responsible for the successful execution of hiring, onboarding and training validation for security officers and staff.
•Ensures budgeting, scheduling, financial reporting and analysis.
•Coordinates all Law Enforcement and contract security requirements for daily and long term security efforts related to support of Production and Event Management effort.
•Assists in the successful application of all Emergency Management planning and implementation.
•Responsible for team member performance management: inclusive of evaluations, counseling’s and discharges.
•Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
•12 Full-Time – Exempt (supervisory)
•200 Full-Time – Hourly (4FL)
SCOPE: Supports Resorts Operations and Security management with administration and project leadership.
Qualifications/Requirements

EDUCATION: •High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: •3-5 years in background investigations and security industry; 1- 3 years of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
