The Manager, Corporate Investigations oversees global investigations of alleged or suspected violations of organizational policies, laws, regulations, and unauthorized activity targeting the organization from within or externally and helps the organization to identify areas of vulnerability and implement mechanisms to minimize risk.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the investigation of alleged criminal and other unauthorized activity.
Develops investigative strategies, identifies process weaknesses, and initiates activities to enhance the effectiveness of the investigations team.
Responsible for the development of materials communicating departmental policy for the handling of workplace investigations, processes, and procedures.
Sets guidelines and policies for conducting interviews.
Authorizes the purchase of equipment for use by investigation staff.
As necessary, provides authorization for global investigative activities and provides analysis and investigative expertise for the successful resolution of security investigations. Directs complex or sensitive investigations.
Leads global investigative-related task forces and special projects to protect the organization.
Identifies goals and objectives for investigation staff and provides leadership and supervision of staff as necessary.
Directs coordination with corporate counsel; senior management; and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Monitors the threat environment and initiates and approves appropriate changes in investigation procedures.
Outlines processes and procedures to ensure the privacy and integrity of workplace investigations.
Testifies in various settings to relate the findings of investigations.
Contributes to the review, maintenance, and updating of security department policies and processes.
Identifies significant issues and control weaknesses and recommends organization policy and procedures to minimize exposure or loss.
Conducts reviews of post-case evaluations to implement, as appropriate, ideas for increasing efficiencies.
Conducts annual reviews of the investigations department and develops a strategic plan for improving departmental efficiency and enhancing performance.
Provides supervision and direction to investigative personnel world-wide.
Manages relationships with external partners who provide investigative services to the enterprise.

Demonstrates an ability to interact effectively with outside investigators, executive security staff, company managers, and other company employees, clients, vendors, law enforcement, and customers (as may be necessary for the completion of assigned duties).
Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with diverse groups of individuals and at all levels of an enterprise.
Possesses computer skills necessary for analyzing and assessing information, writing reports, charting case progress and department performance, interdepartmental communication, and ensuring records management and privacy.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates self-motivation, ability to work with minimal direction, ability to multitask, and strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Has a proven track record in conducting complex investigations, involving larceny / fraud, white collar crime, intellectual property misappropriation. Experience with cyber intrusion investigations also strongly preferred.
