Responsibilities 
The Investigator is a member of the NBCUniversal Global Security Team and will be responsible for assigned investigations for NBCUniversal’s West Coast operations to include: Universal City assets for television and motion picture productions, Studio Operations, Universal Studios Hollywood theme park, CityWalk, Wilshire Studios and additional west coast locations as required. This role will be expected to work closely with members of the NBCUniversal Corporate
Security organization, NBCU Legal team, Human Resources, the outsourced guard force, as well as, building and maintaining relationships with local law enforcement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serve as corporate security investigator for West Coast NBCUniversal incidents by working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Investigations and the Directors of Corporate Security from West Coast Operations for hand off of client incidents and potential threats.
-Responsible for monitoring and reporting all intelligence matters affecting NBCUniversal and its employees, clients, and talent on West Coast, liaising closely with the internal NBCU Global Response & Intelligence Center.
-Responsible for accurate and timely case management, inclusive of: producing reports documenting initial incident or threat, status updates and closure of each incident/threat; entering all investigations into the in-house case management software; weekly status updates for all open incidents and threats
-Act as liaison with external agencies as required for investigations and intelligence monitoring.
-Assist with Executive Protection for special events to include site assessment and overseeing contract security, as requested.
-Participate as a member of the corporate security team in the development of policy and procedures, reviews of existing policies, designing company-wide security and safety programs, and assisting other team members as necessary.
-Provide a high degree of interaction and cooperation with other corporate departments, especially Facilities, Legal, Human Resources, and Finance.
-Conduct investigations in an ethical and legal manner and within company guidelines

Qualifications/Requirements -Minimum 7 years of law enforcement experience required.
-Minimum 5 years of experience as an investigator, handling a diverse array of investigations to include: property crimes, fraud, threat assessments, and high profile cases.
-Must have recent experience and knowledge of current law enforcement practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Public Policy, or related, strongly preferred.
-Some previous corporate investigation work preferred.
-Prior experience working with large campuses or multiple facilities concurrently
-Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
-Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
-Proven success in written and oral communication with all levels of an organization.
-Proven ability to successfully work independently
