At Sony Computer Entertainment America {SCEA), the Safety & Security Department works to reduce security and safety risks, respond to incidents and limit liability exposure enterprise wide.

The Regional Security Manager (Northern or Southern California) for Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) Safety & Security Department is responsible for development, implementation and management of SCEA’s safety and security operations in their assigned region. The Operations Manager designs, develops and implements corporate-wide security programs while managing the operational elements of the security infrastructure. This includes site security design and systems planning while actively managing projects in coordination with selected vendor partners. The Regional Operations Manager works to develop strong partnerships both internally and externally and provides an active leadership approach to successfully develop, implement, and manage SCEA Security programs.

Responsibilities: 
Depending on regional assignment in Northern or Southern California:
Manage guard force operations at SCEA campuses including budget management and performance metrics.
Monitor and manage the incident response center (IRC) operations, including staffing, to ensure 24/7/365 coverage at all SCEA facilities. Programs from IRC to include monitoring and alarm response, intelligence analysis and management, travel tracker and support, crisis and emergency response coordination, and security operations performance.
Follow Legal and Security Management parameters to develop and manage strategic intelligence liaisons with law enforcement and other private counterparts.
Design, develop, implement and manage Operations Manager On-Call program to ensure 24/7/365 coverage at all SCEA facilities.
Design, develop and implement security operations for all SCEA facilities including post orders, standards and protocols.
Create measurable reporting process to include alarm monitoring, incident response, tracking and reporting and other service areas.
Develop plans and support on-going training for security response to crises. Gather Information and research potential risks to SCEA employees and guests at SCEA’s campuses.
Develop and support site-level local emergency response teams, safety programs, and training programs enterprise wide.
Develop and maintain training and safety programs enterprise wide. Working with the Security management team, develop and implement educational training including fire and life safety drills, assist Safety team in personal safety seminars.
Develop and implement physical security program policies and procedures, performance metrics to include security systems architecture design and systems deployment.
Ensure SCEA security programs and strategies are implemented effectively, managed and maintained at all SCEA sites.
Develop, implement and maintain security systems repairs, maintenance and capital planning process.
Develop, implement, and maintain SCEA guest services program based on industry best practices.
Conduct quarterly security business reviews.
To support the information security organization, develop, deploy, and monitor effectiveness of physical security controls required by Sony’s information security program.
Working with Security management team, develop security policies and procedures, define security performance metrics, and develop awareness and communications plans to support Security programs.
Planning and execution of security support for all SCEA events (ie E3, PSX, DPS, etc).
Travel risk assessment and arrangement of executive protection and transport.
Satellite site supervision (Sucker Punch, Bend, Naughty Dog, Gaikai, Polyphany, Sales Offices, etc).
Support Crisis Management and Business Continuity incident reporting structure as required by SCEA’s Enterprise Risk Management programs.

Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years direct experience leading corporate security functions or military/LE equivalent.
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification or equivalent military/LE documentation.
Strong leadership, verbal and written skills required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven conflict management skills.
Strong decision-making skills during emergency and crisis situations.
Demonstrated ability to articulate and document short-term security plans and long-term security strategies.
Ability to work with highly confidential information.
Ability to work with all levels of management throughout the organization.
Demonstrated understanding of best practices in physical security encompassing strategies, policies, principles, procedures, and standards.
Understanding of and experience with security technology including CCure 800 & 9000, duress alarms and more.
A Bachelor’s Degree in an area of study relevant to this position. (or equivalent experience).
Experience using quality assurance techniques and strategies to monitor and improve performance and ensure compliance with contractually set Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
