Site Security Manager (SSM)
PGI has full time opportunities for cleared and experienced Site Security Managers. The position is located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Qualifications:
SSM must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Must have ten (10) years experience in at least one of the following areas of expertise: Construction Security Surveillance, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, Industrial or Government Security involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, or hands on supervisory construction experience.
In addition, the SSM must have successfully completed a certified Site Security Manager course.
Other training courses will be considered:DoS(SE-630) Construction Surveillance Course, DoS (SE-620), DSS Physical Security and the DNI Physical Security Course when resume reflects demonstrated ability to manage a construction activity project.
Duties:
Provide Site Security Manager Responsibilities and work with existing Security officials at client facility.
Ensure engineering design documentation complies with government regulatory requirements specifically ICD 705-1 and Tech Manual for the construction of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities.
In consultation with the Accrediting Official (AO), develop and implement a Construction Security Plan (CSP) in accordance with ICD 705 and ICD Tech Manual.
Ensure construction security requirements as required by ICD 705 Tech Manual are implemented and advise the AO of compliance or variances.
Conduct periodic security inspections for the duration of the project to ensure compliance with Construction Security Plan (CSP).
Document security violations of deviations from the CSP and notify the AO.
Ensure procedures to control site access are implemented.
If required Perform final alarm acceptance tests to insure connected alarm points meet UL regulatory requirements, Nispom and ICD 705 requirements.
Participate in daily construction and security meetings and weekly status meetings.
Prepare various reports, plans and documentation as requested by the Security Officials at client facility.
