Job Description
Range Safety OfficerTracking Code116-838Job DescriptionResponsible for ensuring continued safe operations of weapons system test firings. Safe operations include the coordination of personnel, equipment, ground vehicles and aircraft within the guidelines and policies of the mission SOPs. Strict adherence to safety procedures is paramount to the success of each test. This position involves hands on operations with AA&E and requires good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a working knowledge of range safety. An ideal candidate must have experience in writing procedures and policies and be knowledgeable of Army logistical procedures. Previous training and experience with domestic small arms preferred. DoD and Army Security (COMSEC, InfoSec, Personal, and Physical) experience a plus.
Excellent people and communications skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:
• Education: A.S. Degree – Science/Engineering or equivalent military training

Years of Experience Required: 6 years
