MPC is currently in a growth pattern and is looking to hire an experienced Health, Environment, Safety & Security Professional – Security Coordinator in Findlay, Ohio.

About the Job
This position provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the security program functions within the Terminal, Transport & Rail (TT&R) segment of the business. The security program support will include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards. This position will drive improvement in security awareness, community partnerships, and industry activity. This requires effective collaboration with other Health, Environment, Safety & Security Professionals, Management, SME’s in other MPC Organizations, First Responders and selected Contractors. This position will also serve as the SME on general security questions for TT&R and work to ensure security programs are effectively addressing security-related risks. This position will be located in Findlay, Ohio. This position will involve a significant amount of travel, including overnight travel, throughout TT&R’s operating areas.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Security or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related experience is preferred. The ability to travel 40-60% of the time and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.

- Oversee compliance with MTSA, CFATs and other security regulations.
- Collaborate with MPC stakeholders in development of security strategies, communication plans and security tactics.
- Develop and execute security strategy commensurate with and responsive to risk.
- Monitor security performance. Analyze security incidents and evaluate possible changes to security program.
- Develop and maintain security standard(s).
- Evaluate and identify Critical Facilities.
- Plan and maintain communication networks for receiving new intelligence and threat information from outside and inside groups.
- Coordinate Security Risk Assessments.
- Receive, track and communicate “Security Incident Notifications” via emergency communication phone line and recommend and implement approved actions.
- Serve as Security officer in emergency response Incident Command structure.
- Provide guidance, track completion and compliance requirements for Security Drills.
- Determine budget requirements and manage capital security projects.
- Develop processes for adherence to Responsible Care Security Code.
- Review projects for potential enhancements to security processes.
