Responsibilities:
Training Cell Subject Matter Expert Job Description:  
T-Cell SMEs shall work with the MRB S-3, as well as the MRR S-3, for execution of PTP exercises/training events.  T-Cell SMEs shall support individual, element (team) and unit level (team/company) training and sustainment, to include: pre-deployment site surveys, scenario scripting, exercise/training implementation, evaluation and after action in relation to individual and collective implied, specified, essential and critical tasks associated with each training package.
The SMEs are viewed as operations support specialists, since they support planning, resourcing and management of requirements, as well as execution for the conduct of the training.
 
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) – nine (9) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have SOF Senior Enlisted (E-8^) or Officer (0-3^) background who has performed duties at the Company level or higher and must possess Special Operations Force (SOF) experience, such as prior operational experience with: Special Mission Unit (SMU); U.S. Army Special Forces; Navy SEALs; Marine Critical Skills Operators; and U. S. Army Rangers.

Required skills/experience include:
  • Must possess skills in missions related to SOF including, but not limited to, SERE, PR, Site Exploitation, CQB, Raids and Direct Action.
  • Must be versed in Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) and Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) techniques, for planning of exercise/training events.
  • Shall have a mastery in planning, implementation, reinforcement and sustainment of training programs, operations and become familiar with MARSOC organization, mission, responsibilities, and administrative procedures.
  • Capable of training, coaching and evaluating individuals, elements, and units, in all of the MARSOC assigned core activities.
  • Shall have a mastery of SOF individual and collective tasks and supporting tasks that support urban/rural tactical ground offense/defense and maritime/VBSS (Visit, Board, Search and Seizure) operations.
Possess and maintain a Secret Security Level Clearance
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week. Normal workdays are 0800-1630, Mon-Fri.
Travel anticipated during exercises and training evolutions.
