Job  Summary:
American K-9 Detection Services, LLC is currently seeking to hire experienced Explosive Detection K-9 Handlers to perform duties in New York, NY. This is a Full-Time Position. This position offers a competitive compensation package. No relocation expense is authorized. Individuals applying will be required to attend training from 15 Jun 2015 to 13 Jul 2015 in
Anniston, AL. Travel arrangement to training will be coordinated through the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Provide Explosive Detection K-9 support.
· Must be self-reliant and able to work independently or as part of a team.
· Must be physically fit and able to perform the essential functions of the position.
· Must be able to work with or around explosives.
· Must be tactically and technically proficient.
· Must be a flexible and fluid team player possessing the proper mind set for operating in varying threat levels.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Must have a minimum of 5 years certified K-9 Explosive Detection experience, Military or Law Enforcement.
· Must have ability to pass credit & background check – must not have any violent crime felonies, spouse or child abuse convictions.
· Must be able to provide personal and professional references.
· Secret security clearance level and above preferred but not required.
