c. Ability to prepare activity reports, briefing materials for the Senior Review Board, semi-annual reports to DoD, and other projects as assigned.
d. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with senior level government and military personnel.

Responsibilities:
1. Review industrial technology, concepts, programs & investment areas related to Code 30 programs.
2. Assist with analyzing & assessing industrial technology, concepts, programs & investments in areas specifically related to program objectives. This includes reviewing white papers & proposals submitted to ONR in response to ONR BAAs or proposals received by any other means in an advisory (non-voting) capacity.
3. Assist with technical evaluation of S&T investment proposals & assessment of alternatives associated with these proposals.
4. Assist with development of technology roadmaps focused on incorporating program technologies into existing or planned acquisition programs.
5. Assist with development of transition plans for technology products to engineering development & deployment in the Operating Forces.
6. Assist with conducting or reviewing focused studies & analyses to justify or validate technical or budget decisions related to S&T program objectives.
7. Assist with reviewing, identifying & assessing emerging requirements, technologies, capabilities, concepts, tactics of interest, & possible teaming relationships in areas related to ONR’s objectives for selected technology programs.
8. Assist in the development of alternative S&T project priorities, goals & objectives.
9. Assist in studies & evaluations of the strategic positioning of a portfolio of related ONR programs with respect to the investment mix & customer alignment, & conduct a sensitivity analysis of the portfolio.
10. Assist in studies & evaluations to assess technology affordability & develop strategies for technologies for promoting the investment portfolio mix to better drive Navy & Marine Corps affordability.
11. Assist in evaluating technical progress & plans in S&T programs, make recommendations for coordinating, augmenting, changing emphasis of, or broadening scope of, S&T programs as a result of visits, attendance at meetings, & general surveys of relevant technologies.
12. Support transition of ONR-developed technology by preparing information & documentation required to describe & implement the technology & identify & exploit opportunities to describe & publish in appropriate journals, magazine.
