Job Description:
This opportunity is to provide training to the US Army include Individual Specialized & Collective C-IED Training (ISCT) in order to assist deploying forces in integrating capabilities, technologies, and lessons learned in order to defeat enemy IED networks.
Training will be performed as required in the Continental United States (CONUS) or Outside the Continental
United States (OCONUS).
Locations include, but are not limited to, the following: National Training Center (NTC) in Fort Irwin, CA; Combat Training Centers (CTC); Regional Training Centers (RTC); Marine Corps Training Centers; Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; Twenty-nine (29) Palms, CA; Hawaii; Alaska; Fort Polk, LA; Hohenfels, Germany; Italy; and various contractor facilities.
Employees will deliver training to support C-IED awareness and specialized C-IED training logistics, procurement, and sustainment services in order to meet JIEDDO’s JCOE requirements. Trainers will develop, direct, plan, deliver, and evaluate training…..may develop exam materials, course content, training materials, visual aids etc..Trainers will travel to “home station” training locations/training facilities, conferences, meetings, and other locations as required to support C-IED training requirements.

Qualifications:
MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (or equilalent exp) and 4+ years experience.
- In depth knowledge/ certification in one or more of the following:
- IED ELECTRONICS
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Understanding of electronic circuitry, components, diagnostic/defeat equipment, and TTPs for emplacement and operation of IEDs.
- EOD TACTICAL TRAINING
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Understanding of current TTPs of the emplacement, operation, and defeat of IEDs.
- Four years of EOD experience
- ATTACK THE NETWORK/WEAPONS TECHNICAL INTELLIGENCE
- Military background with a minimum of eight years prior Battalion and Brigade Combat Team (BCT), Company Intelligence Support Team/Company-Level Intelligence Cell (CoIST/CLIC), and EOD/SOF experience.
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Understanding of Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB), Targeting, Assessment, Network Analysis, Evidence Based Operations (EvBO), Enablers, and Analytical tools.
- EXPLOSIVE EVENT EXPLOITATION
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Understanding of current TTPs of the emplacement, operation, Evidence Based Operations (EvBO), and Analytical tools of Improvised Explosive Devices.
- HOME MADE EXPLOSIVES (HME) TRAINING
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Completion of Certified Home Made Explosives Mixing Course (e.g. Sandia National Laboratories, Dugway Proving Ground, New Mexico State University, Sydney Alford Level 3 HME Course).
- Understanding of current TTPs of the emplacement, operation, EvBO, and Analytical tools of IEDs.
- Understanding of HME processes, components, testing equipment, and TTPs for operations of and remediation of HME used in IEDs.
- Understanding of Illicit Drug Laboratories processes, components, testing equipment, and TTPs for operations of and remediation of Illicit Drug laboratories in clandestine environments.
- SPECIAL OPERATIONS COUNTER-IED AWARENESS COURSE (SOCAC)
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Understanding of current C-IED TTPs of the emplacement, detection equipment, and enablers in support of special operations forces.
- C-IED AWARENESS TRAIN-THE-TRAINER COURSE
- Operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq within the past eight years.
- Understanding of current TTPs of the emplacement, detection equipment, and enablers in support of the C-IED.
- Effectively works as a member of a contractor/government team demonstrating superior technical and social skills; consistently displays a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Possesses exceptional communications skills (written, verbal, non-verbal) for interacting with all levels of Military, Contractor, and Government personnel
- Proficient in the MS Office tool suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ year of experience requiring familiarity with all of the following; actual Instructor experience; Army instructor training/certification; Supervision of instructor certification, training and evaluation
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Completion of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) and the Small Group Instructor Training Course (SGITC)
- Development of instructor training, certification courses and/or on-the-job instructor professional development
