The Combat Plans Personnel Recovery (PR) SME will be a member of a team of SMEs developing and conducting AOC-related training programs for an international customer. Team will be based at Ft Walton Beach, Florida for course-ware development and travel to the customer site for course instruction. Individual will use knowledge and expertise in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) to develop course-ware including instructor guides, media, student guides and other training material. In addition, candidate will participate or lead in the development and execution of realistic lab exercises to enhance student learning. Continuation training and exercise support in the customer’s AOC facility may also be required. Candidate must have strong analytic skills in addition to excellent oral and written communications. Individual must be willing to perform travel for periods of approximately five to eight weeks at a time, multiple times each year.
This is a contingent position based on contract award and funding from the customer.

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree
- Minimum of two years assigned full-time to a C-NAF or C-MAJCOM air operations center, multinational Combined AOC (to include NATO CAOCs), joint/other Service equivalent, or as an instructor in the AOC Formal Training Unit
- Detailed understanding of tactics, techniques, procedures, and processes for the AOC pertaining to Personnel Recovery (PR) operations and planning, to include TET and MAAP, unit-level coordination, and airspace planning support
- Previous certification as a platform instructor in a formal course of instruction
- Individual experience will be considered if requesting a waiver to education and/or experience requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three years assigned to operational AOC or instructing at the AOC FTU
- Expert knowledge of USAF and/or other Service/joint/multinational doctrine
- Familiarity with the organization, processes, procedures, applications, and synergistic relationships with other AOC divisions, teams, and liaisons
- Familiarity with the planning and execution of PR operations in the AOC
- Experience as an operator/controller of a modeling and simulation application, such as AWSIM or PTT
- Experience with programming in a Microsoft SharePoint environment
- Current passport
- SECRET clearance
