Position Summary:
Provides required instruction to students on all aspects of their area of assignment (i.e. Firearms, Tactics, etc.) prior to deployment for international assignment.
Position Responsibilities:
Sets up and maintains training facility that may include shooting ranges, driving courses, and other facilities, to assure required equipment is available to ensure training classes run smoothly and efficiently.
Maintains and may develop or adapt training curricula and plans, as needs dictate, and under the general guidance of the Training Programs Manager.
Conduct training classes.
Assesses progress of students to provide on-the-spot feedback, and evaluates students after training program is completed, to make recommendations and reports to clients
Other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements
Position Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen, hold a valid US Drivers License, and must hold a current Secret Clearance.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of verifiable instructional experience
Should have attended 40 hours of instructor methodology or train the trainer training, and hold a relevant certification.
Require one (1) year of military experience in high threat area, contractor experience can be used in lieu of military experience
Four (4) years of experience in a Combat Arms MOS
Affiliation with NSD customer
Requires effective oral and written communications skills, with strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Must be able to pass a physical fitness test and weapons qualification per the contract requirements.
Strong work ethic to include the ability to take initiative as well as follow instruction.
