Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer orientedPhysical Security/COMSEC Security Specialist to join our team in the Reston, VAarea to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an excitingand rewarding career within ManTech. ThePhysical Security/COMSEC Security Specialist’s primary function is workingwithin Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting a USG Agency.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Provide day-to-day support for Collateral,Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP)activities

· Physically inspect and review contractorfacilities to determine compliance

· Maintain documentation of contractor facilitiesto include trip reports, floor plans, program build specifics, and waivers inaccordance with Sponsor facility security requirements

· Travel to identified locations and conductsecurity assessments/inspections per customer guidance

· Provide security awareness briefings

· Assist with the development of physical securityplans for SCI/SAP/Collateral classified areas and for the physical protectionof principals

· Define access control systems for assessed sitesand ensure proper implementation

· Define, coordinate installation/removal/resetting of locks and safes for assessed sites and ensure properimplementation

· Provide ad-hoc security administrative support,as required

· Create key control systems for assessed sitesand ensure proper implementation.

· Ensure compliance in accordance with EO 13526;NISPOM; CDCG; DCID 6/1, 6/6, 1/20P; ICD 503, 702,704 &705

· Establish and ensure the proper implementationof COMSEC plans for assessed facilities

· Maintain an inventory of COMSEC accountableproducts and documentation for processing and transferring equipment

· Provide day-to-day COMSEC advice and guidance toSpecial Access Programs and SCI programs in accordance with COMSEC requirements

· Provide indoctrination briefings with Governmentprovided course materials and provide COMSEC course to new custodians



Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of combinedUSG and/or industrial physical and COMSEC experience

· Previous facility security work with Sponsor toinclude knowledge of computer networks, applications and accesses

· Previous work building/accrediting commercialfacilities and COMSEC requirements for those facilities

· Experience providing ad-hoc securityadministrative support

· Experience defining access control systems forassessed sites and ensure proper implementation

· Must be familiar with COMSEC requirements andprocedures to include the acquisition, maintenance, operations and dispositionof COMSEC equipment

· Must be willing to travel up to 25% both CONUSand OCONUS


Security Requirements:
· TS/SCI with active polygraph clearance isrequired
Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years related experience.
