Primary Function:
Responsible for providing leadership, management, direction and execution of security activities to include the planning and implementation of installation access control, static perimeter security, roving security patrols, intrusion detection system monitoring in support of a US Government Facility. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission and values.
Essential Functions:
Managing the security force for government facilities, personnel, classified computing systems and information in accordance with USAF regulations and internal security policies and practices
Acts as the focal point for all Information Security (INFOSEC) matters on behalf of the Designated Approving Authority (DAA) and Defense Security Services (DSS)
Ensuring all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access
Conducts security audits between regularly scheduled Defense Investigative Service (DIS) inspections
Assist with getting classified computer approval
Establishes closed and restricted areas for performance of classified contracts
Conducts internal investigations involving security violations
In-depth experience dealing with collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and unionized work forces
Job Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
10-15 years DOD/Government experience with BA/BS
Experience managing law enforcement and investigative organizations
Knowledge of PC’s and software
Must be familiar with the DoD Industrial Security Manual and other US Government and U.S. Air Force security requirements
DoD Clearance (TS SCI) approval required
Must be knowledgeable of U.S. Air Force security regulations
Must be able to create and maintain information databases
Must have experience leading projects of 200 or more people, over $1,000,000 value
Business requirements gathering and documentation
Experience with Resource staffing and supervision
Very strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
Technical expertise, experience, and capability in information security
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, Black Belt, Scrum Master
USAF Security/Provost Marshal Experience
Active TS/SCI clearance
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
Strong initiative
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
