Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with development of security policies and procedures
• Conduct self-inspections
• Review material for proper classification and markings
• Develop and implement year-round security education and training to client’s staff
• Investigate security incidents, prepare reports and conduct damage assessments
• Provide guidance to facility security officers as needed
• Develop and review DD 254s
• Participate in project meetings and site visits
• Assist in the development of security plans; classification guidance; operations security plans; security standard operating procedures; and security briefings
• Review drawings and specifications and conduct physical security surveys
• Provide physical security support for Government facilities
• Perform Top Security Control Officer functions as required
• Provide support at satellite facilities as required
Qualifications Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience and ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD, DOE, or other government security regulatory manuals.
