Job Summary
The TRADOC G-27 (TBOC) provides the central management for delivery of complex operational environments (OE). The G-27 (TBOC) facilitates and acts as the principal enabler for continuous learning across all TRADOC lines of effort through acquiring, analyzing, creating, organizing, applying and transferring data, information, and knowledge in the context of the appropriate OE. The G-27 (TBOC) delivers Operational Environment (OE) content using a set of dynamic, integrated analytical processes, information technologies, knowledge networks, and tailored delivery applications. The G-27 (TBOC) Exercise Support Directorate (ESD) replicates complex OEs to include cyber threat emulation and social media replication using a combination of reporting and software applications designed to replicate OE activity.
Principal Accountabilities
The G-27 (TBOC) ESD assists in delivering the operational environment in support of Operational and Institutional force training in the Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming domains that enable the Army Learning and Training Concepts. The G-27 (TBOC) Senior Exercise Team Lead primary duties are:
Coordinates G-27 (TBOC) exercise support for echelon above Brigade units including but not limited to; Division and Corps Headquarters, Army Service Component Command Headquarters, and the TRADOC Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC).
Synchronizes and integrates all aspects of exercise support provided by the G-27 (TBOC) including; liaison with the training unit and training support agencies, liaison with other G-27 (TBOC) training enablers, database construction, intelligence products, and on-site exercise execution.
Integrates G-27 (TBOC) Cyber Threat Replication, Attack the Network, and Information Operations Network (ION) social media replication capabilities into exercise support package content prior to the exercise and dynamically during exercise execution. Integrates TRADOC G2 Intelligence-Surveillance-Reconnaissance – Integration (ISR-I) capabilities into exercise support packages and on-site support.
Participates in all exercise life cycle planning conferences for assigned exercises including conducting pre-planning conference via VTC or Telecom meetings to scope and refine training unit requirements.
Assists the G-27 (TBOC) Intelligence Division with building the intelligence products that support the training exercise using the transformed data base.
Leads the G-27 (TBOC) effort to assist the training unit or exercise support agency leadership with exercise scenario development. Develops exercise scenarios in collaboration with the supported unit using the Training Brain Repository – Exercise Design Tool. Provides on-site dynamic scripting capability to account for changes in the exercise scenario during execution.
Leads the G-27 (TBOC) exercise support team during exercise execution to ensure the data base and intelligence products are presented to the training audience properly.
Coordinates directly with training units or training support organizations to integrate G-27 (TBOC) exercise support capabilities.
Ensures exercise team has a fully functioning hardware and software suite to support the assigned exercise.
Ensures G-27 (TBOC) reach back capabilities are available to support the deployed exercise support team.
Ensure every member of the Exercise Team is fully capable of performing their assigned tasks. Must be able to certify as a G-27 (TBOC) senior exercise lead.
Brief training audiences, as a senior leader, on the capabilities and availability of the G-27 (TBOC).
Interacts with senior level staffs at the Division, Corps, and ASCC level.
Knowledge and Skills
Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
Be familiar with MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with various Intelligence Community software and systems.
Experience and Education
Former senior Army Officer (Lieutenant Colonel preferred), Warrant Officer (CW4 preferred), or senior Non-Commissioned Officer (Sergeant Major preferred) with training/ground operations experience.
Exercise design, Scenario Management, MSEL synchronization, experience required.
Combat Arms or Military Intelligence branch preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
15-years of military operational experience minimum, 20-years (+) preferred.

Travel
Must possess a Current US issued tourist passport
Willing to receive Anthrax, Smallpox and other vaccines as required for the AOR
Expected travel is 25-50 percent.
