Scope Summary:
Support to the Garrison Support Organization (GSO), deployment / redeployment, mobilization/demobilization, Installation/Garrison Facilities Battle Handover (BHO) operations, Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) reset, Force Modernization, Garrison, current, and future plans and operations on Fort Bragg.
Duties:
The Security Supervisor organizes the team to provide security clearance management support to units and individual mobilization augmentees (IMA). Process security clearance applications and updates. Monitor security investigations and verify security clearances. Provide Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (E-QIP) assistance. Develop plans and manage and inspect classified documents, sensitive item physical security, weapons storage, access rosters, and key control programs. Identify, control, and protect classified documents. Obtain and control security documents from advance parties. Verify proper orders and courier cards and provide courier card support. Manage access rosters. Control access to secure areas. Provide a security awareness program including information security and intelligence education. Collect, process, produce and disseminate classified and unclassified intelligence information to unit commanders and staffs. Ensure mobilizing soldiers complete the Pre-OCONUS Travel File (PROFILE). Serve as the originating office for Fort Bragg domain CAC applications and submission to the Contractor Verification System (CVS). AKO sponsorship requests to the Government will also originate from the contractor security office. Provide arms room management and physical security support.
Qualification Requirements:
• Education and Experience:
-BS/BA desired
-Minimum 4 years’ experience in Security or equivalent required
• Clearance: Secret
• Ability to use Microsoft (MS) Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Windows Graphical User Interface), Data/web based systems.
• Knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations IAW FORSCOM Regulation 500-3 series.
• Must possess the skills ability equivalent to an advanced course qualified captain, or battalion or higher senior non-commission officer with operations, training, and deployment/ mobilization functional experience.
