Security Supervisor - Andover

Job Description:

Contract supervision is critical; therefore, a Supervisor must have the capability to act and make decisions independently, must be an individual of integrity who displays a mature attitude and exercises good judgment.

The Supervisor’s duties include, but are not limited to:
Verifying guard sign-in/out procedures.
Provide guard briefings to in-coming officers on current activities and ensure guard knowledge is current.
Guard post checks, conducting no-notice, COR/ or Site SQI-approved security exercise scenarios, at a minimum of once per shift, per week, ensuring all guards are fit for duty, guard required equipment is operable, guards know and understand their post orders/duties, and reporting procedures, using proper cover and concealment, proper tactics, and established authorized procedures, etc. Supervisors will inspect each guard daily at assigned post.
Ensure assigned Guards respond to emergency situations using proper tactics, techniques, and procedures within established time constraints. Supervisors shall not perform officer’s duties while assigned as a supervisor. At no time will these functions be performed by watch commander or security officers while on duty.

The Site Supervisor will ensure the completion of the following Administrative duties:
Background investigation data entry, filing, etc.
Maintaining IRS and company memos
Data entry (i.e. medical dates)
Filing
Recordkeeping
Quality control
Training certifications and accuracy
Medical, training scheduling
CPR first-aid scheduling
IRS testing scheduling
Personnel files - accuracy, updating, purging, auditing
Weekly Payroll processing and time reporting, check distribution
Data entry and distribution of work schedules
Other duties as requested by management
Issuance of correspondence to site contract guards

QUALIFICATIONS
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to perform under this contract, each uniformed contract employee must meet the following education, experience, medical, physical fitness, and security requirements.
Education/Experience: Each contractor employee must possess a high-school diploma or a GED equivalency certificate along with basic computer operating skills. Must be individuals of unquestionable integrity who display a mature attitude and exercise good judgment. Each site-supervisor shall have a background with a minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in the field of supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security guard service).
Medical/Physical Fitness: All contract employees must be in good health without physical defects and/or psychological abnormalities that would interfere with the performance of contract duties.
Security: All guards, supervisors, and contract employees shall adhere to standards of conduct and performance (maintaining satisfactory standards of competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity) as set forth in 41 CFR 101-20.3 and Standards of Conduct are associated with this contract.
