Recruiter: Beyond SOF
Responsibilities:
o Assist in the development and use of threat scenarios, models, simulations, and threat simulations and targets used to portray real-world threats during operational testing of capabilities
o Leverage the threat intelligence community as an expert on a broad application of threat force weapons and systems capabilities IOT evaluates and critiques scenarios, vignettes, and threat portions of identified solutions to current capability gaps at the tactical level of war.
o Facilitate the planning, execution and reporting for Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Support (ES), Unreliability Operations and Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) in support of operational assessments and capability development.
o Assist in preparing, prioritizing and submitting EA frequency requests in support of assessments through the Department of Defense (DoD) Area Frequency Coordinator (AFC), national agencies, Military Representative (MILREP), Frequency Management Office (FMO) and subordinate organizations.
o De-conflict Electronic Warfare (EW) requests between national agencies, adjoining commands/agencies in an effort to minimize impacts to the operational assessments.
o Conduct research and analysis on EW and EW-enabling technologies, techniques, and theory and assist with the development of information requirement to support AWG’s global mission.
o Provides operational assessment support to assist in technical and programmatic oversight of EW and EW-enabling systems, programs and functions to AWG solution/capability development efforts.
o Perform analysis on the implementation of EW tools and capabilities affecting the operational assessment. Validate threat costing data as it pertains to EW in support of operational assessments.
o Develop EW operational plans to support operational assessments in keeping with EW guidance using EW assets as efficiently as possibly across the community of interest.
o Develop concept of operations and requirements for EW to enhance threat capability understanding within the operational assessment.
o Conduct analysis to support DOTMLPF-P implications of identified gaps, new capabilities and requirements
o Prepare, edit, and package professional information papers, quad charts and other documents in support of capability/solution development and emerging asymmetric threats and operational needs
o Assist project managers and actively participate in Integrated Support Team (IST) meetings to facilitate solution development and provide continuity from project initiation through DOTMLPF-P integration
o Support the development of solutions to capability gaps derived from AWG’s tactical observations and trends
o Assist in conducting assessments and market research on emerging technologies and assist in developing plans to continuously optimize technology for improving future capabilities to defeat asymmetric threats
o Draft training instruction materials for deploying and non-deploying units to train
Soldiers in CEWO threats and CEWO defensive measures at the tactical level
o Provide technical and operational expertise to assist development of realistic training and operational scenarios
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum 7 Years’ Experience Required, Must possesses
knowledge, skills and ability with familiarity and experience with, vulnerability analysis,
Army operations, DOTMLPF-P analysis, and capability development
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or
university or unrelated degree with at least ten years of relevant Electronic Warfare
experience with the U.S. military, other Federal Government agencies, industry or
combination
Clearance: Required to have and maintain a TS-SCI Security Clearance.
Travel:
Will travel independently (less than 30% of the time) to various CONUS and
OCONUS locations, to include potential hostile fire zones, to conduct operational
assessments of ongoing projects and provide advisory support for non-material and
material concepts.
