ICITAP Law Enforcement Instructor 10 / Tactical Training Instructor

Description:

ICITAP is a law enforcement development organization whose mission is to work with foreign governments to develop effective, professional, and transparent law enforcement capacity that protects human rights, combats corruption, and reduces the threat of transnational crime and terrorism, in support of U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to deployment
Currently serving as a police officer with 10 -12 years of experience
Bachelor degree or higher in criminal justice or related field (comparable work experience accepted)
At least 1 year experience serving as police tactical trainer
Current police officer with experience teaching tactical training to police cadets.
A candidate’s training experience exceeding the minimum requirements can compensate for the lack of a Bachelor’s degree.
A candidate that is retired can be considered if taught tactical subjects in a police academy in the last 5 years


Desired Qualifications:

Experience developing academy curriculum and training methodologies for use in basic patrol officer training.
