Our reputable client in the security industry seeks to employ a residential guarding area manager
Overall Purpose of the Job: The aim of an Area Manager is to ensure that the department is managed in an efficient and professional way.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Matric
PSIRA Registered Grade B
Valid Driver’s Licence
Proven leadership experience (minimum 2 years in a management role)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing new and existing contracts on a daily basis
Client Liaison (respond to client queries and conduct client visits)
Responsible for Logistics Management (Compiling and control of all reports and paperwork)
Attend internal and external meetings in conjunction with the Residential Guarding Operations Manager
Manage Patrol Systems
Manage individual performance of Supervisors
Investigate all queries received
Implement correction functions
Feedback to appropriate person
Telephonic assistance with any problems or complaints
Give full feedback to clients where necessary
Managing performance foal targets in line with company strategy
Keep staff turnover of to the minimum
Discipline of key personnel
Daily reports i.e. absenteeism, dockets
Completion and update of registers
Ensure that the disciplinary code is adhered to at all times
Standing Operating Procedures must be upheld
Meeting and keeping on agreed upon targets – performance
High standard of service must be upheld
Complete all necessary paperwork for the successful recruitment of terminated staff or new positions which may become available
People management, including all HR related issues as well as staff development
Identify Training and development needs among staff and coach accordingly
Work closely with the staff members to identify and solve queries
Salary on offer is R14 000.00, car and fuel allowance as well as monthly performance bonus
